Digital Asset Specialist

Our client, a manufacturer of luxury beauty products, is seeking a full-time Digital Asset Specialist. This is a 3-month contract-to-hire role located in Vista and all work is onsite. Responsible for web content, social media design and image library enhancements and general day to day maintenance. Collaborates with the Marketing Team and content providers to incorporate visual design along with responsive marketing content into functional web pages, landing pages & other digital channels. Promotes the mission of the brand through content creation that enhances digital presence and brand awareness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Website content changes, including routine design updates and general site improvements
• General website maintenance and functionality in collaboration with hosting service and programmer
• Assist in the content development and implementation of a robust innovative and effective social media platform including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
• Facilitate digital customer outreach campaigns for ecommerce and other corporate initiatives in collaboration with internal project leads
• Curate content for image resource library in collaboration with Marketing Team
• Collaborate and curate special landing pages for various programs/initiatives
• Routine reporting of analytics and associated recommendations
• Research and recommend search engine optimization strategies
• Website training and best practice communications to internal teams
• Attend corporate events and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• Demonstrated working knowledge of web technologies
• Knowledge of the methods to incorporate video and audio into web sites
• Knowledge of functions and capabilities for various web browsers and portal technology
• Degree in fine arts, graphic design, computer science preferred
• Track record leading social medial initiatives with demonstrated success across multiple platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
• Thorough understanding of social media strategy trends and information architecture.
• Experience developing a variety of content - video, written and photographic media.
• Working knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce
