JOB TITLE: Digital Asset Manager & Studio Support

DEPARTMENT: Creative Shared Services, Studio REPORTS TO: Studio Director

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Oversee global digital asset management systems across all brands and support the Studio team

as needed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for supporting and overseeing digital asset ingest process, management,

distribution and archival systems.

• Responsible for user management and digital asset management applications’ training for all

US-based Global teams and local teams.

• Maintain open communication with vendors, creative agencies, global marketing teams and

internal production teams to insure correct and complete ingestion, naming and tagging of all

brands’ digital assets.

• Facilitate the migration of assets to the global DAM from other platforms/servers.

• Partner with Paris team to develop and implement DAM best practices.

• Field and troubleshoot technical support requests for all DAM users; collect data, establish facts

and provide solutions.

• Participate in DAM steering committee to roll out new global DAM application.

• Assist marketing teams in managing brand asset home pages.

• Meet changing business needs and incorporate new technology.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sort photography selects from internal and external photographers, organize folder structures

and apply naming conventions/metadata where applicable.

• Periodically assist internal photographer on low budget photo shoots

• Research and hire photo assistants, digital techs and stylists for budgeted photo shoots.

• Print contact sheets for retouching and creative teams.

• Prepare files for retouching, including cutting silhouettes on products.

• Periodically help team leaders with office administration tasks (i.e. creation of POs, invoices)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: (Academic, Professional, Relevant Job Knowledge):

• Bachelor’s degree in related field

• 5 years experience with enterprise digital asset management platform implementation, including

taxonomy and metadata schema design.

• Expert technical skills in digital asset management software, including XML and data reporting.

• Must have strong Adobe Creative Suite and Excel skills.

• Digital tech, retouching and photo assistance experience a plus.

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Able to automate daily tasks and create process efficiencies.

• Must be flexible, collaborative, detail oriented and a team player.

• Enthusiastic and adaptable, willing to jump in and help where needed.

• Maintain positive working relationships with all teams.

• Remain current on industry trends and technology.

• Able to manage and prioritize work to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
