Digital Asset Manager

As the Digital Asset Manager for the product photography studio at this top tech company, you will collaborate with the studio team to organize high­-quality digital photography deliverables. We are looking for an individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong passion for visual design across different channels.

This Retail Marketing team is a fast­-growing group with a mission to educate, inform, and encourage exploration of products and services in the retail space. ● Track and traffic assets for the photography studio, allowing easy and timely access to key deliverables for multiple internal partners. Utilizing in­-house programs and
information to sort, name, and load images accordingly.

● Work with the Photography Producer on the management of tasks, workflows and decisions surrounding the ingestion, annotation, metadata, cataloguing, storage,
retrieval and distribution of digital assets for multiple purposes.

● Provide clear communications regarding project status, issues, and priorities. Identify personal needs with regards to process and tools, to help the studio work at optimal

● Add files and metadata to a central repository. Comment on assets to determine and control uses and promote an asset’s ability to be repurposed effectively. Create an
intuitive folder and keyword hierarchy so assets can be located quickly. Search for and deliver assets in the proper file formats.


● 3+ years experience managing and cataloging digital assets.

● Ability to learn internal software and procedures quickly.

● Business operations background, be detail­-driven and have excellent problem solving and program management skills.

● Familiarity with existing Google products and product categories.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Proficient understanding of effective Print, Photo Studio, and/or Digital production, processes, roles, tools (digital and conventional) and workflow practices and trends.

● Self-­motivated, flexible individual with strong communication and leadership skills.

● Proven ability to proactively establish rapport, credibility and influence, and drive results throughout a highly matrixed organization.

● Able to balance working in a creatively driven organization with an analytical and disciplined approach to marketing.

● A love of efficiency, desire to produce a high quality deliverable, and an ability to execute against multiple projects ​in a fast­-paced, dead-line­-driven, and technical work environment in often uncertain and ambiguous circumstances.
