Vitamin T has an amazing client in Rosemont looking for a Digital Asset Manager. This is a contract-to-hire position and starts ASAP!

BASIC PURPOSE Under minimal supervision, this position will be the key point person between digital asset
OF POSITION. creation and brand portal usage, they are the digital asset dissemination guru. This position is responsible for providing management and quality control of digital asset content, metadata, and other related asset properties. They will work in collaboration with creative services, digital services, marketing and sales groups. Position will help ensure the creation of product and player imagery is properly uploaded, searchable and maintained on the our client’s Brand Portal for the intent use in our clietn’s and Accounts advertising, catalogs, websites, micro sites, landing pages, sales banners, social media, email campaigns and any other related needs.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

* Daily coordination with Creative and Business Director, Art Directors and design staff, internal marketing and sales clients as well as outside vendors (photographers, video production, etc.) to determine the status of new images and asset creation and it’s usage and distribution intent.

* Constantly maintains and organizes images and assets with appropriate naming convention using key wording and tagging of images and assets property with metadata to create a searchable library. Provides production support and contributes to helping with fundamental tasks such as cropping and resizing images and ensuring all images are using standardized guidelines and templates before going onto the brand portal.

* Daily coordination with Creative Technology Specialist to assists with development of brand portal. Reviews, recommends and helps implement new initiatives related to user experience of the brand portal as both an internal work-in-progress (WIP) server for Creative Services, and a digital asset management (DAM) tool. Help manage user accounts, and control access. Assists with revisions and upgrades to keep evolving and improving the departments’ ability to satisfy our clients needs.

* Contribute in the development of archiving standards and workflow; addresses old images in on brand portal and reviews with marketing to provide accurate archiving and/or renaming of images and assets accordingly to maintain an up-to-date “new” status of searchable assets at all times.

* Creates and implements photography production schedules for notifying marketing, design staff and vendors of schedules. Also works with clients, staff photographer, outside photographers and designers to provide shot lists, job numbers, etc. for projects. With Art Directors, coordinates review of ne (or existing) photography and image retouching with clients.

* Handles fulfillment of miscellaneous image requests from marketing and sales clients, creative services, international locations, and accounts as needed to reduce workloads on design staff.

* Has a creative eye and enthusiasm about photography, digital imagery, design, and the creative process and procedures involved to deliver support to the designer and client needs.
* Researches and documents through asset tagging legal usage rights.
* Responsible for learning the on-going implementation of Macintosh computers, Brand Portals and Project Management tools.
* Provide hands-on training and support for new internal and general users. Helps with search tips and tricks and is an overall advocate of the brand portal and how to use it
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
