Digital Artworker (Designer)

My client is a well know retailer who is looking for a designer/artworker to join their e-commerce team to focus on the design, build and coding of emails. Working closely with both the e-comerce team as well as have a dotted line responsibility into the wider creative team. You will be looking for a fun and creative working environment as well an environment in which you can carve a role in a newly created position.

Key responsibilities:

 Designing, building and coding emails

 Designing and building banner ads, social media assets and mobile sites

 Adapting designs for responsive websites

 Developing concepts, wireframes, competitor and industry research to support the growth of the ecommerce business

 Digital image optimization

 Keeping accurate administrative and digital records for all jobs worked on

 Building effective relationships with key departments in the business

Your skillset will include:

 Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS

 Exceptional eye for typography and image composition

 Ability to take creative direction and feedback

 Have a comprehensive knowledge of Ecommerce trading websites

 Natural search and how to optimize onsite designed assets

 Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships

 Excellent presentation skills

 Understanding of digital creative best practices

 Strong time management skills

 Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite

 Experience in UI & UX for websites and mobile

 Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role

 Useful – second EU language (not mandatory)

My client is based in SW6, close to a tube station and is looking to pay up to £30k pa depending on your experience.
