Digital Art Director

Can you work with our TOP client and prove you have the right skills for this job? If so, our #1 Client is looking for a Digital Art Director (Temp to Perm) who can lead a team, and have the following skills and abilities:

• Expert-level proficiency in applicable digital design software tools: Adobe Creative Suite
• Advanced skills in web-based digital technologies HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery Mobile and other emerging platforms
• Ability to translate functional requirements and high-fidelity prototypes/wireframes into creative, well-crafted designs for websites, web apps, mobile sites, and mobile apps
• Champion UX design principals and ensure all assigned creative deliverables are optimized from the end user point of view
• Solid understanding of web development processes including: information architecture, usability/user experience testing, and quality assurance
• Solid understanding of video formats, compression, and conversion
• Proficient in the use motion graphics, audio/video editing software, and editing techniques
• Strong knowledge of social media APIs, guidelines and regulations
• Possess a good sense of color and design flow in formatting and creating the look and feel for animation and mobile marketing
• Excellent understanding of composition, color theory, imagery, typography, space, scale and grid systems in print and digital design
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment while managing and adhering to multiple deadlines
• Effective communication, listening, speaking and writing skills
• Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties development and manage new media creative projects
• Keeps Creative Services management informed of workload and elevates concern with potential issues
• Oversee team projects and work independently to create innovative well-crafted rich media banner ads, social media campaigns, digital catalogs for tablets, email campaigns, mobile campaigns and other brand campaigns across web and social media channels
• Ability to build strong partnerships within Marketing and the ecommerce web design team; takes input for designs from various sources and produces a cohesive look for multi-channel projects
• Supervises Digital Designers and/or Graphic Designers
• Leads team to deliver design solutions to marketing problems that elevate brand experience
• Educates and trains digital designers on technical advancements and best practices
• Responsible for the creation of style guidelines
• Provide quality control on all completed projects to ensure design quality and production accuracy
• Participates in the development of creative briefs with stakeholders and presents creative concepts to stakeholders with support from creative management
• Stays up-to-date on design trends by researching case studies and developing new styles and techniques with an understanding of both design history and trending practices
• Required to learn and follow company policies, procedures and safety rules
