AQUENT is seeking a Digital  Art Director who is forward thinking and despises template work. We are looking for an inventive storyteller out there who thrives in a highly collaborative role ~ if your idea of fun is bouncing around ideas with others and approaching design with a fresh point of view ~ this could be an excellent match!

If you have the below skills & experiences you will be successful in this role:

  • How can we bring this story to life? Is a question you always ask

  • Big picture perspective: You don't just care about the assignment in front of you, but you are intrinsically interested in understanding the full picture

  • You can  work on futuristic concepts and clearly communicate a specific idea in a vague way - a unique skill which will be used in this role

  • You have the ability to tell a story from the point of view of your customers and business partners

  • You are a true avant-garde AD who has depth, big brand experience and can push the limits

  • At least 5 years of experience as an Art Director

  • PORTFOLIO: Must show business-to-business and some business-to-consumer work. Photoshop, web work, email and mobile

  • Strong presentation skills

Day to day:

  • Concept creation maybe helping out on a photo shoot

  • Coming up with design for a credit card in tabdom with a print piece, landing page and email

  • Collaborating with copywriters, your creative director and developers

  • Working with other members of the creative team to develop, invent and produce effective communications

  • Managing multiple concurrent jobs

  • Presenting ideas, concepts and work to leadership, stakeholders, and peers
