Client is seeking a Digital Analytics and Strategy Pro. This is a minimum 1-year, on-site assignment with the potential to extend multiple years. Looking for an intermediate-level professional. Face-to-face position must be on-site at least 4 days per week. Must excel and interpreting and presenting data across all levels of an organization. Somebody who can translate data into actionable marketing strategies. Looking to streamline their data dashboard. Strong in Excel, Omniture, Tableau, PowerPoint. Help with file management. Must be a Master at Data Visualization and presenting complex data in compelling and easy to understand formats.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the company’s Digital strategy and Services organization. They will need to think quantitatively and analytically as well as creatively. At least 3+ years of experience in business analytics, applying databased findings to generate specific site improvements, excellent critical thinking skills and strong written and verbal communication is required. In-depth knowledge of Internet terminology, KPI creation, pathing and engagement analysis and strong testing experience are needed. The incumbent will be an individual with proven skills working with internal clients in the Marketing organization to understand their business needs and respond with appropriate recommendations. The key skill is an ability to not just measure and analyze but to provide insights for change and guidance for improvement for the firm’s digital presence, associated Marketing programs and campaigns.

Responsibilities • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements for the company’s global site presence • Interact with development teams to provide implementation requirements for Adobe Omniture, and other tools. • Test and provide quality assurance feedback to the various development teams. • Provide reports and dashboards with insights that drive changes in the business • Stay abreast of web analytics trends and best practices. • Lead efforts to research and evaluate new tools/capabilities in the analytics industry • Perform ad-hoc analysis as necessary to answer business questions and drive decisions. • Serve as a liaison to vendor partners to ensure success in with projects Job Qualifications • Bachelors degree in an analytical discipline with related work experience in web development and data analysis. • More than 2 years web analytics experience including knowledge of website design, HTML, JavaScript and analytics terminology. • Use of web analytics systems such as Omniture (strong plus) Google Analytics, or Web Trends. • Understanding of on-site survey methodologies and voice of the customer analysis using tools such as OpinionLab • Understanding basic website design and development. • Ability to talk to development teams about implementation requirements, basic experience in coding. • Very advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Excel. Mastery in PowerPoint • Strong knowledge of search; both SEO and SEM as a critical tactic to drive desired web visitor behavior. • Understanding of data visualization techniques
