Digital Analytics Supervisor

The Digital Analytics Supervisor works with leadership, media, account and creative teams to develop online and offline media measurement requirements with the goal of driving actionable insights for campaign optimization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Ad Ops lead: cross functional team coordination and communications with Media, Client Account Team, Digital Activation Manager, Digital Team and Creative to maintain a solid understanding of upcoming and current account activity, performance, and client needs
  • Develop and maintain an intimate knowledge of clients’ business and ensure that all client media requirements are executed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Project manage all day-to-day analytics related deliverables
  • Own and manage work related to third party ad serving platforms for operational purposes, including tag management, website tagging strategies, ad trafficking, campaign asset troubleshooting, reporting, and discrepancy monitoring
  • Align with Media Planning team to translate patterns in campaign performance into future recommendations
  • Train and mentor assigned traffic and analytics staff including SEM
  • Oversee creation, maintenance, and production of regular campaign reports as well as operational and site performance reports
  • Manage and service clients to ensure accurate implementation, quality control, and maintenance
  • Work alongside other teams and clients to troubleshoot efficiencies and automation and resolve tagging complications
  • Proactively recommend innovative ideas and opportunities

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 years of Ad Ops experience in ad trafficking and working with related technologies (viewability, ad verification/validation, channel attribution)
  • Experience with paid search/SEM campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable communications (expert level knowledge of identifying actionable insights from data with the intent of increasing acquisition, customer engagement, conversion and fulfillment of various campaign objectives)
  • Advanced understanding of digital advertising concepts and terms
  • Advanced understanding of Ad Trafficking including 3rd party ad serving technology
  • Solid understanding of programmatic and ad exchanges
  • Solid understanding of inventory and delivery process, third-party ad tags, and rich media concepts
  • Knowledge of creative testing, media formats, and internet technologies
  • Strong problem solving abilities and communication skills including presentation skills
  • Must be detail oriented, analytical, organized, and produce high-quality work
  • Excellent client service approach and ability to meet tight deadlines and multi-task effectively, supporting and delivering on multiple requests
  • Willingness to learn new skills and be able to work in a team environment across multiple locations
  • Experience with DoubleClick Campaign Manager (DCM), Google AdWords and Analytics, Rich Media and Video, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SEM, Tagging Solutions, Flash, HTML5, Attribution Modeling, Conversion Metrics
