Digital Account Manager/Project Manager - Sports Brand

Our client, a well established sportswear retailer is looking for a Digital Account Manager with a high level of relationship development, a thorough understanding of the technical disciplines of online website design and a strong appreciation of sport.

While a client facing and account management role, it does sit client side and could be the perfect transition for a strong digital account manager looking to step out of an agency environment.

Surrounded by a down-to-earth and passionate group of sports fanatics, this role will see you working on top sporting brands.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, you will be responsible for project managing the design and development of new web stores with new customers from initial concept to go live.

This will require you to : -
assist our customers through initial wire framing and design of their webstore using in/out source design resources;
assist with the definition of product categories and logical navigation & process flow;
establish or locate payment gateway certification, domain names and SSL details;
manage UAT testing;
and coordinate 'go live' expectations and activation.
This process begins and ends with a strong rapport with our customers to ensure each step is delivered in line with the customers brand guidelines, technical requirements and overall business objectives.


The Right Person Will Have
· 3-5+ years online digital experience working with direct clients involving online digital/eCommerce technologies
· Have a genuine interest and solid understanding of the client's business and digital marketing objectives.
· Develop positive relationships that reflect true partnership so you can help them be successful in achieving their business objectives.
· Develop your presence and your perception as an authority/expert to engage clients in the world of digital communications and be a trusted, knowledgeable source of industry information and developments.
· Have a solid understanding of the technical disciplines pertaining to eCommerce technologies.
· Have a keen eye for detail with an appreciation for clean contemporary webstore design.
· Effectively set and manage expectations of client and internal teams.
· Be a master of our internal processes, deliver effective internal briefings and provide appropriate materials to the team
· Use your personal passion and creativity to contribute your own ideas and opinions on your client's business, how we work, and the industry we're in; SPORT!
