We're looking to add Digital Account Managers/Project Managers for ongoing, full-time contracts within a Design Studio of 35+ people in the Alpharetta, GA area.

We are looking for account mangers / project managers with 3-5 years of solid digital across web/mobile. . . other management of creative/design a plus. Must have agency experience

Please note this is not a sales position. We are looking for individuals with a strong Digital Project Management background and not sales.

These opportunities are working with an in-house Design Studio that sits within an International organization. This team has existed for 6+ years. Currently the staff is growing again.

The Studio is made up of Account managers, Print and Digital designers, Proofreaders, Copywriters, Production Artists, Traffic Managers.

The Studio continues to add to its capabilities and staff. Currently more managers and different groups within the organization that were not using the Studio are using them. 2012 brought more opportunities and more business overall. 2013 and beyond are targeted for additional growth.


These specific Account Manager/Project Manager roles will attract candidates with experience managing a range of design projects (print and digital)


Ideally these candidates will have previous Agency experience or internal design/studio experience on the client side.

Exceptional Project Management skills are required. These candidates will be leading client kickoff calls, discerning what's needed, then managing those projects within the Design Studio. These Account Manager candidates must be highly articulate with excellent client facing skills and an ability to manage their own projects from initiation through completion. They must also be able to manage a range of personalities and needs within the Design Studio.


Further Details:

- Experience understanding creative process and design principles (not actual hands on design skills)
- Ability to create cost estimates which the Client approves and the Design Studio adheres to
- Able to run a project from initiation through completion
- Able to handle working in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
- Be self-sufficient/proactive, seek out answers to questions you may have
- Ability to manage several projects at a time
- Able to trouble shoot all creative projects, know when a design isn't working and be able to make suggestions on how to fix the issues.
- Able to direct individual designers and production artists, act as oversight for all projects
- The position will deal with many different brands and branding guidelines, must have knowledge of all brands and what their unique needs are
- Act as quality control and gate keeper for all ongoing projects
- Able to work with Design Studio, internal and external clients and internal legal teams
- Review designs from Studio for accuracy, with an experienced eye to design: how the new images were chosen, sized and cropped; the position, size and wrap of copy; colors and fonts within brand, correct card art added, etc.
- Staying on top of studio revisions, regarding turn around time for revisions and meeting the overall timeline.
- Communicates changes in projects to all parties as appropriate
- Following up with artists to stay on schedule, working with Traffic Manager to get changes made after an artist has left for the day or when the primary artist is over capacity
- Being familiar with the Studio archives, client photo files, and being able to help answer artists' questions.
- Checking HTML before it's delivered: Proofing for links, alt tags, and making sure that it matches what is approved


These Account/Project Managers will work primarily with large clients. There are about 45 clients our Organization works with. Some of the projects will deal with internal stake holders as well (Internal Marketing projects)

Someone who is proactive, creative, detailed and outgoing will do best within this organization. Someone who is open to change in processes and not looking for one way to do things will do best.

You would be paid as a W2 employee of .Keep in mind anything over 40 hours in a given week would be paid at 1.5x your rate.
