Our Client-global travel technology company are currently seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to help with the evolution and operation of our Monitoring platform. This platform plays a key role in ensuring that the health of the Client's website is highly visible and understood by the teams contributing to it.
¥ You possess a deep understanding of DevOps methodologies and concepts.
¥ You are comfortable operating in a Linux terminal, and are well versed in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
¥ You have worked in the Cloud computing arena and have professional exposure to the Amazon Web Services offerings.
¥ You have had significant exposure to containerisation (Docker) and resource scheduling (Kubernetes).
¥ You have used and administered products such as Sensu, Graphite, Grafana, AppDynamics or DataDog.
¥ You have knowledge of configuration management tools and techniques.
¥ You will contribute to the design and build of a self-service monitoring platform that covers Cloud/Vitalisation, Kubernetes, Docker, physical hardware and bespoke applications across multiple environments.
¥ You will be expected to cultivate relationships with developers, engineers and other technology partners to understand their monitoring needs.
¥ You will provide mentorship and technical direction to off-shore team-members and evangelise practices and methodologies.
