• Review job specifications with Studio Manager/Art Director on client projects to obtain a clear understanding of the job, its timelines and client expectations

• Take Art Director’s concepts and develop/generate design solutions, both in print and online, to meet communication objectives

• Review job requirements with Art Director and assist in developing concepts that are on strategy, on budget and on time, contributing ideas and alternatives when applicable.

• Maintain awareness of emerging design trends, media solutions and technological advances in Graphic design field.

• Attend Studio status meetings to keep up with departmental projects and issues

• Ensure timesheets are completed accurately on a weekly basis

• Ensure all art files are collected, archived and appropriately named for future access

• Obtain sign-off on final art work from Art Director, Production Department and Account Supervisor before work goes out for production

• Flight Check all files for accuracy

• Ensure final artwork has been checked against the spec sheet; that all colours, sizing and formatting is correct per the supplied specs

• Communicates clearly with Co-workers
• Is always prepared for any task.
• Accepts and understands areas of responsibility.
• Dependable Steady worker
• Supportive of co-workers and takes initiative to ensure department completes tasks.
