Are you steeped in modern/progressive design? Looking for a long-term position where you can stretch your creative wings and heighten the visual identity of a Fortune 1000 industry leader?

Our client, a leading provider of Business Services, Cloud & IT management software and solutions, is looking for a Digital/Interactive Designer with experience designing and delivering solutions for corporate websites and redesign efforts, marketing materials, advertising campaigns (including traditional, digital, social media and email/direct advertising deliverables).

The IDEAL candidate(s) will possess the following traits:
- your portfolio should be saturated with stunning examples of creative, progressive design
- familiarity with advertising/campaign best practices; thinking about conversion, response rates, customer engagement, etc
- familiarity with emerging media and design trends; experienced in responsive design
- strong interpersonal communication skills

Does this sound like YOU???:
You are an uber-creative web / digital graphic designer with a knack for coming up with ways to communicate marketing messages in simple, modern ways. You’re a triple threat; you design, you code, and you collaborate well with writers, creative directors, and stakeholders.

In this position, You will:
- Be responsible for daily collaboration with writers and subject matter experts to create rapid prototypes of new / revised pages for corporate website
- Assist in the coding / creation of final pages after stakeholder approval
- Assist in implementing responsive design best practices
- Be an advocate for change, pushing to try and test new, modern web practices
- Working with creative management to transfer their vision for the brand and content / storytelling strategy into the right visual interpretation
- Broaden your horizons, designing much more than just web pages. You’ll help overhaul the look and feel of many of our online content types including white papers, articles, infographics, and more
- Focus on functional, informative design – what will trigger desired user response? How can design and words lead the buyer on the right journey to help them make informed decisions?
- Master the corporate visual brand identity, and stay closely linked to the creative services team to ensure alignment and consistency with the master brand vision.
- Design compelling, engaging visuals (including infographs, infograms, memes, etc.) for corporate social channels including Facebook, Twitter, etc.

To be considered, you should:
- Have a portfolio of work samples at the click of a button
- Be a self-starter, ready to dive in and start creating. You may build 5 or 10 different prototypes for a page in the interest of brainstorming and pursuing multiple angles.
- Demonstrate mastery of HTML 5, CSS, and the Adobe suite of products
- Work well in a fast-paced environment, often juggling multiple projects
- Possess excellent communication skills, willing to present and discuss your ideas / concepts with senior leadership
- Be fluent in email marketing best practices, understanding how to design for maximum response / click-thru
- Have experience designing for social channels including Facebook and Twitter

- Agency or corporate experience a plus
- Background in e-commerce / web buying lifecycle best practices
- 4-year college degree with emphasis on graphic design, computer science, art, or philosophy.


• This is a long-term, full-time, W-2 contract-to-hire position 

• Onsite; Can be located in San Jose, CA, Austin or Houston TX
