Vitamin T is currently in search of a Senior Designer for our client in Battle Creek. This is a full time opportunity!

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to: collaborating with fellow creative team members on a variety of client projects specializing in marketing and promotions, and packaging; developing artwork from design through keyline; and working within the workflow framework of the studio to produce top-quality creative efficiently and flawlessly.

1. Concept Development: Understand objectives of each assignment and participate in Creative Brief process. Actively contribute in brainstorms and other idea-generating exercises. Develop original ideas via thumbnails/sketches/digital designs. Ideate promotional programs and tactics. Collaborate/generate communication in partnership with copywriter.
2. Layout & Design: Create graphic designs for projects including point of sale, print/digital advertising, brochures, sell sheets, logos, package design, web page design, trade show exhibits, signage, outdoor advertising, etc. Review work with internal team and client stakeholders at each stage prior to execution. Subsequently execute revisions, communicate details and manage assigned projects through to delivery.
3. Art Direction: Select art vendors (photographers, illustrators) as necessary; manage in collaboration with Design Director. Organize and lead photo shoots as needed. Provide completed digital files of layouts to, and collaborate with, Production Artist. Steer projects through Production while maintaining focus on creative vision of final artwork.
4. Client Engagement: Collaborate with project teams to develop client presentations. Present and sell creative with clarity, confidence and enthusiasm. Receive client input and feedback on creative work with professionalism. Create a positive, lasting impression for our clients.
5. Creative Leadership: Continuously upgrade personal digital art skills and stay current with design trends. Assist creative leadership in training/mentoring junior co-workers. Create a positive, lasting impression for our clients.
