My client is an emerging agency based in Sydney and Melbourne on the lookout for a Designer to join the Sydney team.

You will be working closely alongside the Senior Creative to develop a variety of material for a growing list of fantastic clients. This role offers a great opportunity to join an agency team and be part of true growth and development.

You will need to be confident working from concept design to final artwork delivery – please be aware the role requires a 50 / 50 blend of both skills – across various design projects for events, interactive marketing, online campaigns, digital and print based projects. Answering to the Art Director, you will work on several projects at a time and be involved in all phases of the design, refinement and delivery.

Accountabilities;
- Working on a large variety of media including print and digital based projects
- Consider technology requirements and design solutions that complements the technical strategy and/or partners with the technology staff to overcome implementation obstacles
- Works with / under direction of creative leads to ensure all creative solution meet brief and program objectives
- Works enthusiastically, respectfully and collaboratively with others
- Actively participates in team meetings to discuss project parameters.
- Independently manage and prioritise time, juggle multiple projects effectively and proactively escalates work load conflicts.

Skills and personal qualities;
- 2 years minimum design industry experience
- Design portfolio that demonstrates a range of project experience (print, brand, events - exp with digital would be a bonus)
- Ensure your portfolio clarifies your role within projects (eg. concept design, working under direction, pure artworking)
- Able to articulate your creative process, thoughts, ideas and a point of view about your work.
- Command of standard design and layout applications (Adobe Creative Suite).
- Confidence and resilience required to deal with a fast-paced working environment.
- Demonstrated ability to utilise feedback/direction from creative lead to generate multiple design explorations.
- Knowledge of the production process (e.g. optimising graphics, compression settings and file size and image optimisation).
- Careful attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, a sense of humour and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
