For a large fashion brand we're looking for a DESIGN LEAD to work on a contract trough Aquent.
The nature of the work is focused on the appearance of product, communications, or collateral materials. Under the direction of a Senior Designer or Director, collaborates in the development of innovative solutions for 2d and 3d design including graphics and/or environments. Utilizes advanced design skills to create original design solutions Communicates and presents design concepts to team/leader/Director Creates presentation materials that effectively communicate design concepts. Works with design leadership and category team to ensure feasibility of designs, budget, merchandising needs and overall program needs Produces electronic files for production purposes Produces electronic files for production purposes Actively gains knowledge of current trends, color, technology and other related design influencers
Skills: Bachelors degree in Graphic, Architectural or Industrial Design and Minimum of 6 years progressively technically sophisticated experience in design.
Proven advanced ability to apply and perform design skills, including drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing, and scale, visual presentation development and layout.
Knowledge of and sensitivity to trends influencing design in general, and the athletic industry specifically. Demonstrated ability to create market-appropriate designs within set timelines.
Demonstrated high level of expertise using design software. Strong oral and written communications skills in local market language, including meeting facilitation and ability to make persuasive presentations to senior management.
Ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives. Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines. Proven ability to work in a rapidly changing, high-growth environment.
