Design Studio Traffic Manager

Based in London, in our Global Marketing and Design team, this is a unique opportunity for an experienced design manager to help coordinate and traffic a team of hard-working visual designers.

The digital marketing team is one of the best in the world, and a smart, agile in-house content design process is a major contributing factor to that success. We use no advertising agencies - all our content is developed, and almost all is produced in-house! We are now looking for talented people to help shape and coordinate our growing design team, bringing greater efficiency to our marcom operations in every market.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be To

• Help hire and subsequently coordinate a team of Local Designers who will be based in our multiple local offices around the world, and who will work as part of the local teams (dotted-line, not direct reports)

• Develop process for feedback and resource sharing across the above-mentioned remote design team members in our multiple local offices. Never stop looking for smart solutions to improve workflow, collaboration and quality!

• Ongoing work with every internal client to ensure every request is well prepared for designers, well briefed and always feasible!

• Prioritise and traffic requests with calm and intelligence, making the designers' lives easier and ensuring the best result for the internal client, and maximum overall efficiency

• Be a diplomatic and thoughtful brand guardian, always

Qualifications
• Minimum 4 years professional experience, including project management AND design work
• Passionate, committed project leader, team-player, able to get others on board and guide successful collaborations on creative projects
• Great design portfolio to show
• Skilful cross-cultural communicator
• Comfort working in a start up culture with a high growth/agile environment with constant change and iterative improvements, able to bring structure and process when needed
• Hands-on, enjoys getting things done in any way possible
• Must understand our business model and value proposition, for both drivers and passengers
• Strong understanding of what makes advertising content effective and commercial sense - you will be much more than a traffic manager
• Formal marketing education a plus
• Knowledge of digital marketing & online marketing metrics (CPC, CPL etc…) a plus
• Fluent in English, additional language skills a plus
