As their Studio Project Manager you will serve a critical role for the company and design department: you are responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of their NYC and Portland design studios. This includes shepherding creative projects from intake through delivery, forecasting resources and ensuring studio standards are met. As the gatekeeper to all creative and production talent you are the main partner to account managers and design leadership to assign projects, plan workflow and adhere to timelines. You thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment managing multiple projects, tight timelines, and honor our dedication to client satisfaction.
Maintain status documents and insure timely communication with project owners
Manage studio capacity and establish needs for freelance resources
Facilitate communication with creative directors and account managers to insure briefs are completed, determine schedules and materials needed
Work with design leadership to assign projects, develop process, and maintain standards
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders: creative leadership, project designers, account managers, and executional team
QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in marketing, project management, or design
3+ years of creative agency or brand background
Understand 2D and 3D design process and timelines
Retail design industry experience is plus
Track record of working independently and within a team in a dynamic environment
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor
A great sense of humor
