A Fortune 500 Athletic Footwear/Apparel company is seeking a Design Project Manager to join their Global Design team.

The Design Project Manager (DPM) is a tactical, organized, positive team player who is responsible for delivering the project objective and deliverables. The DPM owns the day-to-day project schedule, and manages project costs, timelines and quality while remaining flexible and focused on delivering the best creative solutions. The DPM provides the tactical horsepower to manage Design’s deliverables. The DPM reports to the Design Studio Manager.

Responsibilities

• Creates and seamlessly updates the day-to-day project schedule to ensure timely and budget conscious
delivery. Iterates and reassesses throughout the Design process to keep Designers moving
forward and deliverables on track
• Obsesses the asset grid and manages to the timely deliverables of all assets
• Act as the project communications hub, and facilitate connection to identify solutions and gain
alignment
• Fosters a strong partnership with Brand Design and Brand Marketing to frequently calibrate
deliverables with scope
• Responsible for tracking and managing the project budgets
• Raises risks and opportunities to the Design Studio Manager
• Provides meeting recaps and project notes
• Coordinates and manage outside vendors and agencies
• Processes invoices and requests POs
• Partners with Brand Media Productions team to coordinate execution (includes shoots, style-outs, art buying, vendor management and post production)
• Tracks Creative Review deliverables, assisting the Design team as needed
• Partners with the Tools and Content team to publish all final assets
• Responsible for keeping Project Pulse updated and accurate
• Defines and leads project meeting cadence
