A good knowledge of the following tools is preferred:
Candidate will work on presentation decks for Marketing. Many of these decks have quick turnarounds and multiple revisions, so the position requires customer service and the ability to juggle many projects at once. They should be proficient in Power Point, have good design layout skills, and 1-2 years experience in a marketing environment. The Marketing component is valuable when processing information, and coming up with design solutions that serve marketing goals.
What part will you play?
The primary function of the Presentation Designer is to create visually compelling communications and manage assigned projects through all phases of development to successful completion. The Presentation Designer's work product includes multimedia presentations, key art, trade ads, email communications, digital mock-ups, event invitations and other collateral material. Secondarily, provides support at events and sales meetings which may include AV production, photography, hospitality and general onsite support. Position supports the team's management in meeting the department's goals of collaboration with other team members, improving the department's overall performance in design and execution excellence, and in building a strong culture of creativity and professionalism.
What will you be doing?
Develops effective communication tools to support ad sales initiatives and revenue goals; Charged with developing well-crafted design solutions for array of projects including presentations, key art, collateral, digital mock-ups, storyboards, signage, premiums, invitations, trade ads, journal ads, email blasts, and branded premiums; Responsible for developing production files for digital and print output; Manages timelines and deliverables as outlined in project creative brief 50%
Responsible for project management tasks such as file management, tracking changes, backing-up files, routing work for proofreading, sending files to vendors, gaining internal approvals, etc.
Provides support at events and meetings as required, including event production, AV support, photography, staffing, etc.
Supports team management in improving department's processes, performance and professionalism
Special tasks as required including mounting art, framing, procurement of supplies, etc
What do we require from you?
Experience working as a presentation or graphic design professional in corporate design department or similar position in agency setting
Experience in presentation design in broadcast and cable industry
BFA in Communication Design or equivalent degree
Creativity: Demonstrates ability to translate marketing objectives and strategies into creative concepts and design and execute clear, compelling and appealing presentations and marketing communications.
Project Management: Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables including timelines, and successfully manages all phases of assigned projects from initiation through completion.
Communication Skills: Posses strong verbal/written communication skills.
Collaboration: Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, sharing ideas and insights, building on others' contributions, supporting a creative culture of professionalism, respect and creativity.
