Design Operations Manager

We are looking for a Design Operations Manager with an Architectural Project Management background for our fortune 500 sports client in the Retail Design space in the Beaverton, OR area for 6 month contract. As the Design Operations Manager your role will support the design team, managing architectural drawings/plans for store designs and development of concepts. You will work closely with other PM’s as well as the design team. They will be helping with:

- vendor relations

- reviewing architectrual plans and drawings

- managing budgets

- scheduling, workbook schedules for the design team to deliver against project expectations

- coordination of project details

- communications around projects (setting up meetings, leading meetings of all parties involved)

Skills:
Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in design. Strong oral and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations; ability to understand challenges or underlying concerns, share ideas, and developeffective responses or elevate to higher management. Demonstrated project management and process excellence. Typical Office: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.

Education:
