We are looking for an In-store Design Manager with a background in retail or interior design, and experience leading the concept development and design for large scale customer & business propositions.
As the In-store Design Manager you will also be acting as the Creative Lead, owning and taking responsibility for multiple projects as well as providing support for all aspects of in-store customer experience, mainly UK based with the occasional international project.
You will be defining, developing and managing projects from conceptual stages right through to prototyping phases, including the installation of these trials to support photo shoots.
Focusing on Customer and Business needs, you must have the ability to interpret customer and competitor insights and translating these into project briefs for whole store propositions, including display equipment and in-store graphics.
The chosen Design Manager must possess excellent communication and presentations skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas, as you will be liaising with business stakeholders, showcasing sketches, mood boards and prototypes.
Collaborating with various teams, Head of Design and Design Managers, you will also be managing suppliers and design agencies, ensuring quality and brand consistency is being followed through and implemented.
The ideal candidate must have creative retail design experience, working with UK retailers or leading brands.
Experience with the following software is key: Sketchup, Photoshop, Illustrator, AudoCad, Vectorworks, Powerpoint, Excel and Word
