Aquent Studios provides project outsourcing for clients who want to contract out all or part of their creative services, marketing, or content development projects. The Design Manager is the primary designer and brand steward of an exciting new engagement with a thriving company that intersects tech and transportation. Familiarity with high tech companies in an ultra fast-paced environment is essential.

As the Design Manager for this account you will develop concepts and execute visual designs according to client provided requests. Although the focus of the role will be marketing communications, as a dedicated designer, certified in the client’s visual brand standards and brand voice, you will also function as brand steward, performing brand reviews for deliverables across media. The work will support far reaching areas of our client's business.

You will collaborate closely with the assigned account team to understand the client’s marketing strategies, target audiences and communication objectives for all visual communications, including:

  • Generating strong, inspiring, strategic design concepts
  • Art directing projects and campaigns
  • Working hands-on to design creative, innovative expressions of the brand across web, print, mobile and video
  • Managing schedules and deadlines to a professional standard
  • Managing and art directing other Aquent designers
  • Presenting design solutions and feedback to the client


Skills and Experience:
Can translate creative requests into impactful designs – balancing thinking “out of the box” with achieving marketing goals, budgets and timelines while maintaining brand standards.
Ability to initiate and articulate concepts across various forms of media and collateral
Understands components, cycle times and distribution requirements for integrated marketing communications campaigns with strong knowledge of press and finishing technology
7+ years’ experience in advertising, design and/or marketing communications with at least 3 years experience designing impactful corporate ads and marketing campaign materials within corporate identity guidelines
Has excelled in a fast-paced high-pressure creative services matrix environment with demonstrated ability to keep multiple projects on track, and on-time.
