Design Lead (Brand Strategy)

Our client, a global & leading hostel-focused online booking platform are looking for a Design Lead to focus on their Brand Strategy for a 9 month FTC contract.

We are looking for a strong creative lead to manage a variety of in house projects across Print & Digital design, including Video, Photography & Illustration. You will have 3 direct report to's and will be collaborating with wider areas of the business to align, develop and deliver the company’s vision.

 

Key Responsibilities

This role involves the management of the in house creative team, ensuring that brand objectives are met throughout all disciplines of design. You will need to be able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment, working towards deadlines and have experience in following brand guidelines.

Most of the projects will be on a digital space so a strong understanding of Social Media channels and Digital Marketing will be key.

Due to the global nature of the company, you will establishing and maintaining key relationships of stakeholders across the business, guiding brand design on projects, product launches and campaigns.

 

Essential Skills and Software:

  • Experience leading an integrated design team delivering successful projects / campaigns

  • Advanced knowledge in layout, typography, illustration and photography

  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office tools (Word/PowerPoint/Excel)

  • Desirable skills in After Effects, Premiere, Adobe Animate/Flash

  • Bonus if you can work across PC
