My Client is an exciting broadcasting company who are in the forefront of creative marketing and design within their sector. They are looking for an experienced Design Director who can create magical experiences to promote their product offering. This is a contract role till the end of February 2018, paying up to £450/day for the right candidate.  

You will be working with the in-house creative agency of entertainment and broadcasting. They have a team of 300+ creatives, planning, project management and production, where they combine agency expertise with in-house brand knowledge. 

Most of the work is centred around marketing the content as well as supporting the programs and production, and offers a diverse and exciting range of opportunities for creatives and designers. 
The teams support 3 brands, where they control the identity in the on air product as well as in all the comms, which makes for a uniquely consistent and strong brand. 
They also take on all content advertising with around 20 high profile campaigns a year across entertainment and sport, delivering through traditional and new media channels. This spans 48 sheet design, press, digital and on-air outputs for shows (360 campaigns). 
Finally the world class promo teams support our channels in the best way and is made possible through their passion for programming – movies, sport and entertainment.

Team Overview 
The Brand Experience team is responsible for bringing campaigns and products to life through multi-sensory immercive experiences. The team creates tactical and permanent experiences and installations for both internal and external audiences. It's a multi-disciplined team enabling us to connect with our audiences in a more meaningful way. 

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities  
This is an opportunity for an experienced and proven Experiential Design Director to become a key member in the Brand Experience team. This is an exciting time as we expand our offering to bring more and varied experiences to our campaigns. 

Key Responsibilities 
You’ll be reporting directly to the Creative Director and will be responsible for running your own projects, and assisting the CD in overseeing other projects and the running of the design team. Core responsibilities will be conceptualisation, design and overseeing projects through to completion. You should be adept at creating presentation decks and confident in presenting to internal and external stakeholders. Your knowledge in working with experiences/events and tech will make you the go to person for advice. 


Person Specification 
You’re a creative first and foremost with a passion for doing great work. The right attitude is as important as having great skills. You have a positive and proactive approach, able to take the initiative. You have an open mind and willingness to collaborate and explore new and exciting avenues in experience and tech. You understand design and the application of graphics within an experience. 

Essential skills & experience 
You should be proven in creating tactical experiential activations. You have good design knowledge in both physical environments and applied graphics. Technical knowledge of set building is helpful but not essential. Agency or FL experience for a minimum of 10 years at senior level. Adobe suite essential as is either Sketch Up or C4D.
