Position Overview: Develop the list segmentation for all direct and interactive marketing campaigns.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Database Marketing Specialist to join its digital marketing group. They will need you to take ownership of their existing marketing database, segment it, fill key gaps and grow it into a finely tuned business growth driver. You will work on our client's business and marketing databases as well as with third-party databases to execute and support direct and interactive marketing initiatives.
You must be able to make strategic decisions about who the best providers are, in terms of quality, quantity and cost per acquisition. You should be comfortable building and presenting reports on the effectiveness of our database marketing decisions over time.
Within the first 30 days, you will build a full report on all of our databases, with initial recommendations for how to fill the gaps.
Within the first 60 days, you will have a strategy, vendors and partners in place, and key stakeholders bought into the improvement process.
Within the first 90 days, you will build and present a report on the health and potential growth of the database, and effectiveness of ongoing marketing initiatives.
You will work closely with the email marketing specialist, marketing analyst and the rest of the marketing department, reporting to the Digital Marketing Director.
Execute segmentation around brands plans.
Identify and contract the proper vendors to expand databases based on brand, country and campaign medium.
Coordinate and monitor the maintenance and integrity of several databases.
Implement target accounts expansion and acquisition plan.
Track and analyze direct and interactive marketing campaigns.
Use statistical analysis and reports to create campaigns.
Perform data extraction and lead generation custom reports.
Evaluate and optimize effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Conduct and interpret data analysis.
3 to 5 years of work experience in database marketing field.
Strong database broker industry knowledge.
Strong computer skills.
Superior analytical skills with a solid business foundation, especially in the marketing area.
Experience developing and presenting business conclusions based upon data analysis.
Ability to code campaigns in a manner that allows for efficient and added value information during analysis.
Detailed oriented, organized, demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Above average verbal and written communication skills are required.
Must have excellent time management, problem solving abilities, communication skills, and solid understanding of the creative development process.
Reporting and analysis tools (r) experience.
Experience in conducting sales and marketing campaign response analyses; Ability to study and detect the trends and articulate through reporting.
Fundamental knowledge and experience with web analytical tools and interfaces.
