We are looking for an analytics expert to play a critical role in a new digital division of a global professional services company!

The individual will work on a cross-functional team to lead analysis that will help transform core processes, design technology-based solutions and drive organizational change within the Firm. The individual will be responsible designing measurement frameworks; sourcing, analyzing and interpreting information; and for communicating insights to leadership and project teams working within the initiative.

The team is committed to lean,evidence-based product development, believing it to be integral part of the process of honing, validating and implementing product strategy and user experience design. Given this commitment, the role of Data Specialist is a critical function that helps us insure we are appropriately and effectively generating valuable insights that help us achieve the intended outcomes for the new user. We expect successful candidates to have a passion for the business value of analytics and a demonstrated ability to use data to both inform and validate technology-based product concepts, target the right users and guide successful deployment and adoption of new offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret application usage data and adoption to help guide

strategic decision making and inspire action around specific goals

• Work with product teams to identify the best measurable predictors of

solution adoption and usage and then weigh in on the technical

implementation of those instrumentation requirements to inform

assessment of progress during beta/pilot testing

• Analyze and interpret data collected during pilots and roll-out of software

applications to feed back into lean product development processes

• Advise teams on research design—both qualitative and quantitative—

with an particular focus on driving more precision in surveying methods

and cultivating a healthy balance of research methods and tools

• Help leadership and PMO for the Digitizing our Firm initiative develop

measurement frameworks that link performance metrics to intended

business value and impact; both for individual projects and across the

portfolio of investments

• Represent the analytics discipline within Digital Transformation and when

necessary develop new methods and train others in the broader

organization as appropriate

• Minimum 5+ years experience working in marketing analytics and/or

business intelligence, preferably in the domain of software applications as

well as complex, large-scale information systems

• Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field or

similar work experience.

• Data-driven mindset with an expertise in basic statistical methods, data

sourcing and collection, quantitative research design as well as analytics

tools for web-based products is essential.

• Additional knowledge regarding lean methodologies, software

development and instrumentation, service operations and process

redesign is an advantage

• Strong team orientation and collaborative by nature.

• Efficient and flexible in approach, taking ownership and responsibility for

work; proactively identifying and tackling opportunities or potential

• Able to communicate in a clear, consistent, and transparent manner.
