Data Analyst

We are looking for a Data Analyst to work for a national retailer in San Diego. You will be responsible for leading all aspects of management for the creative organization, including analysis, forecasting, resource planning, scheduling, and reporting disciplines. As the Data Analyst, you will provide consistent, relevant and accurate data as well as guidance/knowledge of the data and definitions at are available for analysis. You will be working in the Creative Services Department, reporting to the Manager of Print Production.
Responsibilities
Allocates projects and resources based on product, industry, budgeting, and workflow to ensure the creative team is meeting deadlines and budget requirements.

Prepares spreadsheets for data analysis; prepares reports with charts and graphs, mailing lists, maps and ad hoc requests. May make presentations.

Defines and refines the workflow process, metrics, measurements, and other key processes and indicators for the work force analytics.

Analyzes reports, makes comparisons to industry/company benchmarks, determines trends, and prepares cost analyses.

Provides recommendations based on findings and analysis. Provides input on policies and procedures.

Participates in department and interdepartmental projects
Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.

May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support personnel or professional personnel.
Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally 2‐5 years of experience in related field.
