The manager is looking for someone who has fairly broad skill set, and someone who is analytical who can sit down and work through problems and learn new tools. Not someone with formal coding experience, but would love to have someone who understands SQL or coding languages is great. This positions is not a marketing or social media analyst role or a hard core technical role. The ideal candidate would be someone who has the ability to look at data, can interpret that data and understand what they are seeing. One of the main projects this role will be involved with is monitoring social media, tracking the many brands and leveraging social listening platforms and identify insights for the brands


What our client is looking for:

  • Position needs someone who is logical.
  • Excel experience- someone who can work with data (does not have to be an expert)
  • The team does not need someone who can work with a specific tool, but someone who understands the tools
  • Someone who can look at data and can interpret and understand it.
  • Need level of business savvy because will be interacting with business partners


    Main Need of this Role

  • Experience aggravating social data and looking at an entire month of 50K social posts around the companies brands and boiling it down to the top say 4 things that relates to the brand.



    Official Job Description:

    We are looking for a Technical Data Analyst to support Hasbro's expanding analytics program. This person will work with the Hasbro IT Advanced Analytics team, Hasbro's business teams, and third-party partners to conduct analysis on various data sources, generating periodic as well as ad-hoc reports for Hasbro brandsinsights from data.


    Must Have Skills:


  • Analytical thinking - able to find patterns in data and think logically about implications
  • Working knowledge of database structure and lookup functions; advanced charting; and analytical concepts such as pivot tables.
  • Highly organized; excellent task management skills
  • Ability to manage many simultaneous deliverables and details
  • Ability to visualize analytical results using latest tools such as PowerPoint and Tableau.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in writing
