Data Analyst - CRM (2503548)

This role will be part of the Customer Contact Management team within CRM, which manages direct mail and email circulation, as well as customer file health and analysis. Responsibilities will include using campaign management software to target, segment and select customers for marketing campaigns, maintaining and reconciling campaign history and budgets, querying databases to extract data for reports and analytics, collecting and managing requests for various types of data from inside and outside the team, and assisting in the design and execution of tests and experiments.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer segmentation and campaign planning in either the postal mail or e-mail environment, and be familiar with analytical marketing concepts and performance drivers. Candidates should have experience with relational marketing databases, superb Excel skills, and an aptitude for problem solving and attention to detail. SQL and/or SAS programming knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities
• Work with marketing teams to schedule campaigns, develop offers, build segmentation plans, create forecasts and maintain marketing calendars for postal and/or e-mail campaigns.
• Use Epiphany campaign management software to target customers for direct and email campaigns based on agreed upon segmentation strategies.
• Analyze results of campaigns to determine performance and tie to brand marketing and financial objectives.
• Gather, reconcile and standardize data from across the enterprise and various outside entities to maintain tables and spreadsheets that support reporting and campaign history.
• Maintain data quality and identify potential data issues with a focus on maintaining the highest level of data accuracy and integrity for reports and campaigns.
• Query databases to extract data that supports the development of reports and analysis of trends, file health, campaign performance and reading results of A/B testing scenarios.

Qualifications: • 2-4 years work experience, preferably in quantitative marketing, circulation and/or analytics, ideally in a multi-channel retail environment. • Advanced computer skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint. In Excel, must be able to use pivot tables, filters, charts/graphs, and lookup functions. • Knowledge of relational database structures, customer databases, campaign management software (Epiphany, Unica, etc,) and SQL or SAS programming a plus. • Ability to synthesize and clearly articulate information, present complex analytics in a clear, digestible manner. • Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually depending on the project.
