3D Asset Wrangler

Character, Weapon & Vehicle Technical Artist responsible for performance, optimization, and maintaining walkthrough of assets to run time environment. Responsibilities include checking daily builds, reporting issues back to the team and working closely with Devs, Designers and Artists to maintain Character, Weapon, & Vehicle assets and provide quality assurance as well as generating and amending assets, textures and materials for run time.

Qualifications
Experience with Autodesk Maya required. Experience with Photoshop, or similar 2D art packages required. Two years professional experience working within games industry preferred. Experience using proprietary technology on game consoles preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Art, Design, Computer Science or Architecture preferred. Experience with ZBrush preferred.

Artist must have strong knowledge of modern game asset development principles and techniques, strong technical mindset, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to real time environments and assets. Artist should have strong time management, communication skills and be a proactive problem solver. The ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts and learn new tools required. Position requires communicating with artists and devs at all levels. Excellent high and low polygon modeling skills along with strong painting and texturing skills a bonus but role is more around the upkeep and modification of existing assets and using proprietary toolset to walk assets into the engine.
