Customer Relationship Management Analyst

Aquent's client, a large tech company headquartered in Mountain View, CA, is seeking a Customer Relationship Management Analyst for a 3–month assignment. (Please see note under "Other Requirements".)

In this assignment, as an analyst on the client's Consumer Engagement team, you’ll be responsible for driving the analysis and insights of CRM efforts, including measurement of the effectiveness of CRM strategies across various stages of the customer lifecycle. Success in this role will require not only reporting the data but also framing and translating meaty business questions into email analytical plans to help extract meaningful insights. You should be excited to dig into the data to get things done, with a demonstrated track record of leveraging insights to help the team make informed decisions in addition to knowing your way around the analytical platforms.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage framework to evaluate CRM performance across email, social, and other campaigns
2. Define KPIs and success metrics; create & own standardized reports to report on the performance of those campaigns.
3. Use a data-driven approach to establish campaign best practices and develop actionable insights to integrate into future campaigns to drive tangible marketing and business impact.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Design and implement campaigns tests to understand consumer behavior and effectiveness of new strategies.
- Lead design and execution of ad hoc analysis (e.g. customer lifetime value) or other projects with other internal teams to gain deeper insights on overall effectiveness of CRM programs.
- Facilitate information sharing with cross functional teams by sharing performance metric and key insights.
- Serve as primary point-of-contact on the Consumer Engagement team for cross-functional teams for all things related to email marketing analytics and tracking.

Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS/BS degree in Marketing, or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience working in Email Marketing analysis for consumer or technology brands.
- 2+ years of experience working with CRM's (no specific CRM tools required)
- 4+ years of general marketing experience (preferably in digital / tech)

Nice to have's:
- Highly skilled analytical prowess with a strong point-of-view on how to best leverage available analytics platforms and extract the data to get actionable insights.
- Story-based reporting: Not only delivers the data, but also addresses the core strategic questions with a data-based narrative.
- Analytical mindset w/creative visualization skills: Ability to analyze data using Excel or other tools and representing key findings in visually compelling ways in presentation formats.
- Proactive and independent: candidate works well with minimal guidance and is excited to "take the first pass" at analysis plans or reports, without needing prescriptive direction. Manages workload by balancing future logistical and strategic needs.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and other tagging methodologies.
- Collaborative: Partner cross-functionally with teams who don’t report into this role to get data as necessary.
- Comfort and ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with compressed deadlines.
