Customer Experience Designer

Our client is looking to hire a Customer Experience/UX expert for a long-term contract position. This is an excellent career opportunity working for a major health care company.

DESCRIPTION Reporting to the Senior Director of Customer Experience, the Customer Experience Designer will take a holistic view of a customer interaction such as the welcome and on-boarding experience of new customers. This designer will work with people across the company to define the experience design process, apply the concepts and methodology, develop design deliverables, outline an experience improvement plan, and ultimately see the improvements through to completion.

The designer should be familiar with the employment of quantitative and qualitative research methods to perform their analysis. The expectation is that the ideal candidate will drive design all the way through to delivery of the recommendations; in other words, bring the experience to life.

Ideal candidates will offer:

· Experience in Human Factor Design, User Experience Design and Usability across more than one customer interaction channel

· Ability to drive results, lead cross-functional teams, influence others and foster collaboration

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Demonstrated small-group and workshop facilitation skills

· Strong understanding and demonstrated ability to develop customer-focused experiences that lead to customers who are advocates

· Evidence of achieving results in complex settings and in matrix/silo organizations

· Innate desire and experience in improving the service experience of customers

· Strong analytical skills

· Bachelors or Master Degree in interaction design, research, human factors, or a related field (required)

· 5+ years of design experience
