• Based in Reading
• Salary up to c£30,000 per annum
• Contract to start no later 15th April 2013
• This is a maternity cover contract so will be for 9 – 12 months

Customer Executive Briefings Coordinator

Role Purpose
To offer strategic briefings that are tailored to meet the specific needs of our client's account teams, executive customers and partners. As an integrated part of the sales cycle, executive briefings have three specific outcomes. 1) They forge stronger customer and partner relationships, 2) They build confidence and trust by highlighting the business benefits of our solutions which in turn can drive new sales opportunities and 3) They help to shorten the overall sales cycle.

The Customer Executive Briefings Coordinator is responsible for driving the pipeline of executive briefings to plan and manage end to end briefings for their customers, partners and other key stakeholders. This includes qualifying the need for a briefing at the initial request stage, liaising with relevant subject matter expert speakers, and from planning through to execution of a successful briefing.

Key responsibilities

The Briefings Coordinator is required to work alongside the Sector Sales Leads and Business Managers to drive and track
pipeline of Executive Briefings in the UK, as well as to:
• Provide consistent feedback of metrics to relevant sales sectors
• Work with sales sectors to create an Executive Briefings strategy to ensure that their individual needs are met

The role requires the Briefings Coordinator to work closely with the Account Team Units to manage the briefing from start
to finish. Duties include:
• Qualifying initial request and determining the right briefing to meet the customers and company's objectives
• Act as pivotal contact point between Account Team and speaker community
• Working with the Account Team to define briefing objectives and create an agenda
• Identify and book the right speakers for each session
• Schedule pre-briefing calls for the speakers and Account Team
• Liaise with the EBC facility coordinator to ensure catering and logistics for briefings are arranged
• Daily maintenance of metrics for weekly reporting

• Preferred: Knowledge of Microsoft and the Enterprise sales organization

• Preferred: High level of understanding of Microsoft technologies and future roadmap
