Customer Communications Executive

Our client is an exciting modern banking and payment company, which has been successfully pursuing a commitment to challenge the status quo of traditional banking. This fast growing, award winning company, was recently featured on the London Stock Exchanges list of 1000 Companies that Inspire Britain.

This unique financial company is currently recruiting for a Customer Communications Executive to join their team in the heart of the city.

Main responsibilities:

• Own customer journey management and associated communications, from customer touchpoint mapping, communication writing or briefing through to compliance sign-off
• Maintain the communications library to identify, recommend and prioritise enhancements to customer communications, across all communication types, such as emails, online banking messages and text messages
• Support marketing managers with delivery across communications, digital acquisition, direct mail and existing customer marketing
• Responsibility for updating marketing compliance processes to ensure that the right framework is being followed for the development of all marketing communications, including but not limited to; sign off sheets, version control, brand guidelines and ensuring effective workflow management
• Work with creative and copy resource to develop briefs and implement changes to customer communications in a timely and efficient manner. Where required, this will also include writing copy and making layout recommendations
• Ensure all customer collateral is compliant, accurate and meets the brief for that specific customer communication
• Manage third party suppliers to deliver material on time and within budget
• Ensure the correct product positioning, tone of voice and language is used in all communications across consumer, corporate and credit
• Perform regular end to end reviews of all customer communications for consistency, accuracy, tone of voice and product positioning
• Become the champion for effective marketing communications best practice across the organisation, and ensure the appropriate documentation is up to date for effective cross-training internally and company wide

Essential Skills:

• Minimum 1 years’ marketing experience (Financial products preferred)
• Graduate degree or equivalent (Marketing/Communications discipline preferred)
• Excellent written communication and proof-reading skills
• Polite, friendly and confident with a great ‘can do’ attitude and ability
• Capable of managing multiple campaigns in parallel

Desirable skills:
• Previous experience working with all level of stakeholders, from fellow execs to senior directors
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory and legislative environment
• Experience working on payment card new account acquisition campaigns
• Knowledge/use of Visio to create flows
• Direct mail experience
