Customer Acquisition Consultant

Our client - an eCommerce leader - is looking for a Customer Acquisition Consultant to help drive it's C2C business. This is a great opportunity to help connect buyers and sellers! This is a 6-month contract based in San Jose, CA. Candidates must be able to be on-site for the duration of the assignment. Free shuttle with WiFi from San Francisco, if needed!

Our leading eCommerce client is seeking a strong individual who is invigorated by challenges and thrives when meeting those challenges!

Responsibilities:
 Increasing the number of new sellers we have on the site
 Increasing the rate at which our buyers, particularly top buyers, become active sellers on
the site
 Cross functional partnership: working with key partners to co-create and execute on a robust strategy to re-invigorate this area of the business. Critical business partners for
this role include: Marketing, Analytics, Product, Global Customer Service, Pricing and Regional counterparts.
 Program management: Working with marketing, product and analytics to execute each
initiative in a way that allows for rigorous testing and measurement
 Managing stakeholder expectations and communications
 Coding NPS verbatims
This is a critical role which requires a highly motivated individual who can balance strategic
thinking, solid customer instincts, process design, resource management, and analytic rigor to
deliver a high-impact customer experience for our C2C sellers. The role requires an Internet- and
eBay-savvy individual with excellent teamwork and communication skills, as well as flexibility,
innovation and quantitative excellence.

Job Requirements:
 The person in this role must be highly skilled at working in a cross functional matrix. It will be imperative to build strong working relationships with marketing, analytics,
product, customer support, and pricing. In addition, this role will require global coordination and ways of working.
 Ability to analyze and synthesize a wide range of inputs, including customer feedback, data, use cases, market research, and personal experience to identify new opportunities to improve the customer experience
 Develop and deploy program plans to deliver against key goals, with a mindset toward process transformation and continuous improvement
 Polished, professional attitude and the ability to build relationships and understanding within all areas of the company, including product management, customer support, analytics, engineering, marketing, finance, and legal
 Effective listening and questioning skills, someone who can tune to the customer’s issues and concerns.
 Embodies the work ethic and personality that thrives in a fast-paced culture with tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and matrix managed responsibilities.
 Excellent judgment; creative and strategic thinker.
 Experience buying and selling online is very helpful.

Education
- Bachelors is a must, MBA is desired
- Experience level is 5 plus years
- Industries worked in: ecommerce sites, merchant development
