o Coordinates with Product, Edit, Business Development, Advertising, etc. to develop comprehensive analyses around investment cases (e.g. LTV modeling/scenario analysis) to d rive reven ue/traffic.
o Optimizes portfolio by allocating budget efficiently and provides smart investment guidance to acquire users/drive revenue.
o Effectively manages complex projects utilizing various statistical frameworks (i.e.Time-Series, Various Regression methodologies, Hypothesis Testing).
o Conducts market/competitive research and analysis to understand current market trends; identify "white space"; and understand distri bution opportu nities/threats that could impact AOL financially from a short-term and long-term perspective.
o ldentifies reporting needs for investment guidance and works with the business to recom mend infrastructure solution/tracking mechanism.
o Develops a body of knowledge and experience to inform new analyses/reporting.
Provide regular operational reporting to various stakeholders.
o Read and synthesize data and generate hypothesizes, relate back to current business issues, and make recommendations to various levels of management/stakeholders.
o General Experienc e: 2-4 years of directly related experience (or t-2years of directly related experience plus graduate degree) in areas of quantitative business analysis.
Education: Bacheror's degree in Finance, Marketing, Economics, Mathematics, or
Engineering or equivalent is required.
o Understand p&L statements.
o Understand NpV and DCF calculations.
o Technical skiils: proficient in MS office (especiaily Excer).
Preferred (Not Required):
o lndustry Experience: Have industry experience in lnternet or online Media/Advertising industry.
o Education: Graduate Degree (MBA/MS)
in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics,
Operational Research or Mathematics.
o Technical Skills: Experience in running SeL; Experience with Omniture and comScore.
