Aquent’s innovative strategy and technology consulting firm client in the D.C. area is looking for a contract to perm Traffic Coordinator. The Traffic Coordinator will interface with internal client teams to gather production requirements in support of high-quality presentations, deliverables, and proposals. The Traffic Coordinator also will be responsible for:
• Gathering and communicating key information for design, editing, DTP, and print; consolidating job files, and creating job tickets
• Ensuring receipt, documentation, and dissemination of production specifications and schedules, updating checklists and posting to appropriate production folders on shared server.
• Providing core team with situational awareness to include work status, resource availability, and alerts to potential conflicts. Monitoring email.
• Working with functional leads to determine appropriate schedule and staffing and as directed responds to clients.
• Serving as backup proposal coordinator to include accepting work and/or assigning work
• Performing a variety of administrative tasks in accordance with team standard procedures to support production for large and/or complex projects or proposals
• Performing weekly uploads of recoveries to JAMIS

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years experience coordinating production in a high-pressure, high operations tempo, and short-deadline driven environment
• Knowledge of commonly used PC applications such as MS Office Suite
• Expertise in database management/data entry to maintain and update electronic records necessary for billing and invoicing.
• The ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of high-quality material with attention to detail; identifies potential issues, and devises contingency plans to implement in collaboration with functional leads
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; persuasive, encouraging, and motivating with ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, operational staff, and vendors
• Flexibility and adaptability in scheduling and coordinating multiple jobs across multiple locations
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to rapidly learn and leverage knowledge of the firms branding for external deliverables
• Knowledge of page layout, desktop publishing, pre-press and printing processes
• Ability to follow direction and specifications



Highly Desired Requirements:
• Experience developing and implementing best practices – to include collection and compilation of lessons learned input.
• Ability to proofread and perform quality control check for graphics or formatting.
• Working knowledge of Filemaker database tool for project management
• Develop and deliver reports to senior leadership
• Able to work non-standard hours and willing to travel and work off-site as needed
