This role, Creative Studio Manager, works within a client facility running a creative team that supports print, digital and multimedia. The position is located in the center of Washington, DC and requires a full-time on-site presence. The Creative Studio Manager is responsible for day-to-day team management and workflow optimization for a major global financial services firm. In addition, he/she works with client leadership to develop new business opportunities within the facility, assisting on client presentations and mentoring staff.
This person functions as the main client liaison and runs the day-to-day operations. This person would assure service/quality requirements and create a high-performing, creative operation. He/she is regarded by the management team as an expert for the creative team and digital workflows that support it.
Work is typically performed without direct supervision, with only guidance about overall goals and objectives. Must be able to define work based on evaluation of short term and long term goals of the department. Able to independently evaluate processes, identify areas of improvement, and incorporate in to overall work objectives.
Ensuring print, web and video projects meet client instructions, quality standards and brand identity.
Acting as the point of contact for new and projects, delivering high quality customer service and follow-up.
Recruiting new talent, developing training/orientation materials, addressing performance concerns, and creating succession planning and rewards.
Managing workflow to address production schedules, staffing needs, quality and technology, ensuring work is delivered on time/budget.
Providing strategic planning to maintain high standards and streamline processes.
Approving estimates, creating POs and monitoring client project tracking system.
Coordinates offshore team members to ensure seamless global client support.
Prepare and deliver reporting metrics.
Assess and improve internal workflow and maintain optimization and efficiencies.
Work with the leadership to identify new business opportunities.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience running a creative operation
Solid understanding of procedures and software in a creative services environment, including:
Data tracking for productivity
Job intake and file release
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Proven ability to multi-task, handle stressful situations and deadline pressures
High levels of tact and discretion to successfully maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials
Working knowledge of Adobe CC and Microsoft Office
Familiarity with implementing and maintaining corporate brand identity
Experience in the financial sector a plus
