Creative Strategist (Jr. and Sr.)

Our client is a creative agency looking for a junior and senior strategist to lead their clients through a website redesign, landing pages, branding, e-mail campaigns and lead capture. The strategist role is being able to connect the dots across the system and be able to rationalize the what and why behind each component of the problem or challenge. Expertise in UX is a huge plus here, and being able to speak and explain from the user’s perspective through process and output. The ideal candidate has consumer or product facing experience.

The Senior Strategist role in Mountain View is on-site at Google working with Google Stores, so a background in e-commerce or retail is highly preferred.
The Junior Strategist role is on-site at the agency's HQ in San Francisco.
Both roles are contract to hire, on-site and 40-hours/week


Experienced in reviewing, using and interpreting data, findings, insights and thought-starters to inform product, content, creative and UX solutions

Experienced in framing problems and considerations around goals, outcomes and plans

Experienced in forming, articulating and explaining strategic process

Experienced in client-facing situations and able to support/lead/pivot everything from hallway conversations to formal design or work reviews

Possesses some global knowledge of all core marketing disciplines, from social, e-mail, relationship marketing, mass media and beyond

Ability to articulate their own majors and minors. All strategists need to either have a digital strategy, product strategy or UX strategy major.
