Creative Strategist - Contract

Creative Strategist - 3 month contract with the view to extend
We are looking for an innovative thinker and passionate problem solver to join a creative experiential and integrated agency. Forming a key role within the agency, the Creative Strategist will be a source of excellent strategic marketing and brand building expertise. You’ll also be passionate about leading clients and internal stakeholders on the journey through to effective communications execution.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
- Prepare and review relevant customer, category, trend and brand marketing related using a variety of tools.
- Develop unique, actionable insights from research to support strategic recommendations.
- Develop compelling brand stories that act as an inspiring spring board for creative development and build our client’s brands.
- Collaborate with the agency creative team throughout the ideation process, and guide and direct ideas on strategy.
- Develop compelling presentations and documentation that tell the unique story of our research and strategic recommendations – across a multitude of our offerings and platforms, eg: brand development, experience design across multiple channels
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of agency output, and work with client and internal teams to optimise communications programs to constantly improve.
- Build strong relationships with clients – become a trusted advisor, develop their knowledge of and passion for brand experience.
- Support the client services team in developing their strategic capabilities in the form of training and feedback on developing their Point of View.
- Work with the Head of Strategy and agency executive team to strengthen The Agency strategic service offering.

CORE SKILLS
- A collaborator and a compelling and effective communicator – facilitate agency teams to achieve great results and work well with external agency partners and clients.
- Strong research skills and experience with data and analytics.
- Excellent communications planning skills – with a desire to find solutions beyond paid advertising.

QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 6 years’ experience working in strategic planning at a digital, media or integrated agency.
- Experience working across a portfolio of leading global and local brands.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field – higher qualification highly regarded.
