Creative Services Traffic Coordinator (Print)

The Traffic Coordinator will facilitate support for all routine projects submitted to the internal creative services department for print projects--with possibly some video and web projects. He/she will be the primary point of contact for these services. This individual appropriately delegates projects to team members, coordinates the progress of projects, manages the resolution of problems, communicates and consults with the customers on their requests, monitors project costs and estimates, assists in project planning with clients, and ensures scheduled completion of projects.


1) Initiates creative projects by directly receiving project requests and all necessary information and routing requests to the designated artists in the Creative Service team or hands off more complex projects/campaigns to the Project Coordinator to set up a face-to-face creative concept meeting.

2) Coordinates the progress and completion of creative design projects by collaborating with the Creative Services team and developing project timelines in order to meet client due dates.

3) Coordinates the resolution of problems by anticipating and identifying schedule and deadline issues and providing necessary communication to the appropriate individual.

4) Oversees the progress of projects from conception to completion by coordinating the exchange of information and approvals from parties involved, monitoring and logging all projects through the production process, maintaining detailed status reports for all projects, and providing detail as requested from clients, all team members

5) Ensures appropriate spending on projects by monitoring actual versus estimated costs to assure projects are within quoted parameters.

6) Assists with project planning in order to effectively coordinate complex projects and provide education to customers on how best to utilize creative services.

7) Provides recommendations to leadership on staffing workload for assignment of new projects in order to appropriately place requests with the necessary Creative Service team member.

8) Maintains relationships with internal contacts (e.g. other departments) and external contact (e.g., advertising agency and other vendors) for support in achieving marketing initiatives and assist in the completion of specific projects.

9) Maintains a filing system of closed projects including all project documentation and samples in order to prepare for future needs.
