Creative Services Specialist

Our client, the nation's largest professional employee organization committed to advancing the cause of public education, is searching for a STELLAR Creative Services Specialist to join their team! The essential functions of this position include:

- Establishing and maintaining relationships with their internal clients as well as work with their state affiliate communicators and editors;
- Processes creative-related job requests and creative briefs;
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities with management approval;
- Anticipates client needs as well as sets and achieves client expectations;
- Maintains communication with clients to increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships;
- Initiates creative brief sessions with clients and design team as necessary;
- Assists in developing design concepts for creative services collateral while monitoring and enforcing adherence to project and brand standards;
- Facilitates project, edit, revision and proof changes with Creative Services Manager and clients;
- Maintains the job tracking system to monitor projects through all phases of production with a goal to ensure all projects are completed on-time and within budget;
- Revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements;
- Facilitates regular status meetings with project team;
- Researches new techniques, procedures, and emerging technologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness;
- Assists with evaluation and redesign of creative deliverables;
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes recommendations to streamline production and delivery process whenever possible.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related discipline.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Four years of current project management experience in the successful execution of print, broadcast, photography, and interactive tactics, products, and programs, including up-to-date knowledge of the software, hardware and other equipment and technology used in the stated areas, as well as knowledge of future direction of web-based video, photography, and graphics. Minimum of four years experience in client relations with proven ability to understand and translate client needs into project requirements and determine the best format to achieve desired result.
