Creative Services Manager - Freelance

0 people like this description

As Creative Services Manager, you will be responsible for making our Creative, Print and Digital services work to maximum efficiency. This will require day-to-day trafficking of the briefs that come in to Creative Services and resource planning, as well as working alongside the Head of Creative Services to increase the profitability of the agency. Our work is fast-paced, large-volume, multi-faceted and highly creative – reporting to the Head of Creative Services, you will be the communication link between internal clients and the delivery teams.

Your role will typically include the following:

 Ensuring the briefs submitted by account handlers across all office locations are resourced in the most efficient and profitable way. You will need to have a depth of understanding of what is entailed in the delivery of each brief and work with the Head of Creative Services and/or Creative/Digital/Print experts to estimate how long it will take to deliver.

 Regularly review utilisation and take appropriate action to ensure resource is being optimised.

 Quality control of briefs and the briefing process, showing flexibility when required but upholding standards and ensuring consistency and surety in the process.

 Close liaison with account stakeholders and client service teams across the agency, ensuring the high quality, smooth delivery of all creative and digital projects, both internally and externally. This will mean pro-actively monitoring the progress of projects, ensuring that all action items are accomplished on a timely and accurate basis.

 Maintaining a list of approved suppliers (freelance resource, illustrators, photographers) to be used for external resource. Being aware of the cost of creative time and freelance time to the business, you will work with the Head of Creative Services to manage their use and the costs incurred in delivering each project so that the business improves profitability.

 Working with the Head of Creative Services to give guidance to account stakeholders and client service teams in the pricing and charging of creative and technical resource, and working with the team to agree the approach to be taken, where applicable, with significant clients on the roster.

 Improve communication across the business by ensuring the right questions are asked at the outset and clear, concise feedback on timelines/deliverables are returned to the requestor.
