This is a 6mo contract position with Amazon.com company, CreateSpace in Charleston, South Carolina (not Seattle). This position has the potential to extend and/or become permanent. It pays $14/hr + benefits. In total, we are looking to fill 6 positions.

Our client is a leader in manufacture on-demand self publishing services for authors, musicians, filmmakers, publishers, film studios, and music labels. They are looking for a dynamic, organized individual to join their Services team as a Creative Services Coordinator in Charleston, SC. (This is an onsite position; relocation pay is not offered)

Position Overview
This position reports to the Project Team Manager. The primary goal of the team is to provide members with a personalized experience and quality products.

A Creative Services Coordinator (CSC) is responsible for working with a large volume of customers to fulfill products and services utilizing outsourced designers, formatters, and video production teams, and sometimes performing work internally when needed. In a fun and fast-paced environment, this position requires heavy phone and email communication with customers, utilizing a wide variety of software tools to navigate customer accounts, research and review policies and communicate effective solutions. The CSC will work closely with the Project Coordinators and other internal teams to ensure that a quality product is delivered timely and accurately. The chosen candidate must have a strong work ethic, the ability to deal with ambiguity, and a desire to succeed and be a team player. This person must have a strong grasp of design, understanding technical and creative aspects of graphic design and video production.

Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct design and video consultations to assist with design minded decisions and evaluating authors needs while ensuring the author understands the service fulfillment processes and the products they have purchased
• Fulfillment of creative services while proactively identifying problems and seeking solutions
• Assisting with the management of outsourced vendors for quality product delivery
• Managing workflow using a wide variety of software systems • Escalates customer issues appropriately, timely and correctly.
• Demonstrates clear and polite written and oral communication.
• Demonstrates timely, accurate and professional customer service.
• Actively seeks solutions and identifies trends to appropriate personnel including possible alternatives or suggestions.
• Demonstrates appropriate sense of urgency for email response times and phone service levels. Accountable for service level agreements defined for customer interaction.

Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years Graphic Arts or Design related experience
• Associate’s Degree and 2+ years customer service experience
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
• Ability to work occasional weekends and overtime as required
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree is preferred
• Experience working with outsource/3rd Party Vendors
• Aptitude to quickly learn new systems and software
• Ability to multi-task & prioritize, with strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
