Creative Services, Account Lead

Creative Services Account Lead needed for our biotechnology client in the great Boston area. MUST HAVE PHARMACEUTICAL, HEALTHCARE, MEDICAL DEVICE, OR BIOTECH EXPERIENCE. Candidates without this experience cannot be considered at this time.

The Creative Services Account Lead maintains a close partnership with several of the Marketing team members in the development and execution of short- and long-term strategic marketing initiatives. S/he manages an Associate Account Lead that also supports the marketing brand initiatives.

Additionally, S/he will maintain a strong understanding of the company brands and their respective markets and provides strategic guidance on agency initiatives, ensuring all work is produced on time, on budget and on strategy.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to-

• Lead realization of client business objectives by providing strategic direction and guidance
o Draft strategic project briefs that articulate objectives, target, assignment, key message and success measurement
o Collaborate with Marketing team to ensure all details are captured and kick-off creative team to initiate project
o Represent brand team in internal meetings, evaluating work to ensure that the CCoE is delivering on defined strategy
o Ensure integration of messaging across all channels
o Assist in development of project schedules and manage timing throughout the life of each project
• Strategic oversight of client relationships
o Key day-to-day client contact for business and initiatives
o Develop and maintain strong client and team relationships. Clear understanding of brand needs, expectations and long term CCoE requirements
o Partner with marketing teams during planning process
• Maintain financial oversight of all areas of business for CCoE
o Draft annual Statement of Works (SOW) and as-needed project estimates
o Manage any scope creep and secures all Business Owner approvals throughout process
o Report out monthly to brand teams
• Develop and report out all communication documentation for individual projects and relationships in general
o Creative presentations, planning, billing and status reports

Qualifications

• 8 plus years in an advertising agency environment with Biotech/Pharma industry related experience.
• Strong analytical/strategic skills and above average interpersonal skills.
• Extremely detail oriented and organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects simultaneously.
