Creative Project Manager (min 5 years)

Our client is looking for a Creative Project Manager to support their Creative Services team. The Project Manager will be responsible for developing project schedules and job estimates, maintaining workflow records to ensure projects flow through efficiently and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate must have great planning skills, the ability to anticipate problems and develop a plan of action to prevent delays, have excellent organizational and multitasking skills, and be able to communicate with individuals at different levels in the department and business units, as well as work with various vendors.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop project schedules, assist with project estimates, maintain workflow records to ensure projects flow through in an efficient and timely manner
  • Schedule meetings, take meeting notes and recap for larger more extensive projects
  • Manage project calendars to help with prioritization
  • Manage print requests, QC and proofread, coordinate with other departments like the
  • Work with other department Project Coordinators/Managers to coordinate key stakeholders on large projects
  • Manage and maintain vendor relations; negotiate project costs
  • Assist with special project requests:
    • Research promotional items for events or campaigns
    • Stage and oversee assembly for various project requests
  • Pull and distribute weekly and monthly status reports
  • Maintain Creative Services resources including SharePoint site and other project management systems

Requirements:

  • Experience working with creative teams and understanding of the creative process
  • Experience working with print vendors
  • 5-7 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager in a fast-paced environment; agency or print-house experience a plus
  • Excellent organization and time management skills – can prioritize workload and multi-task effectively
  • Amazing attention to detail (self-proofing), despite tight deadlines
  • Experience using project management systems for job tracking
  • PowerPoint and SharePoint experience is a plus
