Creative Project Manager (San Joaquin Valley)

Our client is looking for a temp to perm Creative Project Manager to join their team on-site in San Joaquin Valley. This will be full time hours, on-site, and starting in the beginning of February.

About you: You should have 5+ years of experience and training in Project Management, uploading assets, meta-tagging, etc. Our client is implementing new digital processes and they work with Adobe DAM and Blue currently, and you should have experience working with one of these systems.

Position Overview:
- Oversee the execution of all marketing packaging and marketing materials.
- Drive the creative services workflow process to include the planning, directing and coordinating of all creative activities and deliverables to ensure projects goals are met on time and within budget scope.
- Setup creative development timelines, project briefings, and internal creative reviews with appropriate parties.
- Ensure timeline is adhered to and that creative teams and Creative Directors at all levels are on-schedule.
- Prioritize own work as well as team’s work; knowledgeable of industry standards; values and manages employee diversity and cross-functional collaboration to achieve results; provides current, direct, complete and actionable feedback to others; committed to employee development and career growth; fosters a work environment where people feel energized and empowered.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage multiple projects from conception through completion
- Communicate project requirements, scheduled deadlines and provide effective warning when delivery dates may be in jeopardy
- Monitor and follow-up with all appropriate departments on project development
- Maintain up-to-date and organized files for all stages from concepts to completed pieces
- Initiate, develop, drive, and revise schedules
- Coordinate team briefings, internal reviews of creative, and all other meetings needed to complete any given project
- Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization
- Manage the Digital Asset system and facilitate the uploading of assets as well as maintaining and upgrading the system
- Responsible for assigning appropriate metadata for assets to ensure accurate usage rights
- Register internal and external users to the Digital Asset Management system based on permissions
- Maintain vendor relationships

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in creative project management (either with an agency or consumer products company)
- Experience defining and tracking against schedules, establishing stakeholder alignment, and addressing obstacles while working with ease across varying business lines and cross-divisional stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of projects
- Expert knowledge of MS Office and basic image editing skills
- General knowledge of retouching, web design, and packaging processes
- General knowledge of social media, banners ads, adaptive & responsive design, print production, mechanicals, and emerging technology
- Experienced in Blue OR Adobe DAM (Digital Asset Management) is a MUST
