Creative Project Manager

This position will oversee the implementation and management of projects for our Advertising needs for Print and Digital as well as Events and Tradeshows within the creative team. In addition, the Project Manager will act as project lead from conception through deployment, manage resources and logistics, and partner with various internal and external teams to provide solutions to meet marketing and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and comprehensive knowledge of print and digital creative projects and processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Accountable for every step of the creative development process and successful, timely delivery of projects.

· Manage internal creative teams.

-Ensure teams know and understand the project vision, manage expectations and team relationships.

-Uphold standards and best practices.

-Mitigate risk on projects, engage in contingency planning, recommend solutions, proactively engage in problem solving.

-Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet marketing and business objectives.

-Provide Creative Director and all key internal team
members with timely status updates on projects.

-Contribute to growth of team and refinement of processes/workflow.

-Enthusiastically represent GoPro creative and strategy.

-Decision-making and independent judgment

-High level of independent judgment is required to see patterns and recommend courses of action. Will be a decision maker on behalf of others and will need to represent ideas to gain buy-in from management and functional areas outside of finance/accounting.

Qualifications & Skills:


-BA/BS Marketing or Related Experience

-Experience with Resource/Project Mgmt tools

-3-5 years in a Creative Agency, Resourcing and/or Project Management experience
-Quick, creative problem solver and works well under pressure; Detail oriented

-Budgeting experience in Production a plus.

-Ability to organize information and concisely present issues, recommendations and conclusions

-Superior written and verbal communication

-Must work collaboratively to develop staffing solution

-Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills

-Strong consultative, business partnering and influencing skills; able to establish high trust and credibility
